Privacy policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PhoneSoap LLC ("PhoneSoap," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you visit phonesoap.com (the "Site"), purchase our products, or otherwise interact with us. It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them. By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Personal information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact data: name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number.
  • Order and transaction data: products purchased, order history, and payment confirmation. Payment card details are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Account data: information you provide if you create an account, sign up for our email or SMS programs, or contact support.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, language, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, clickstream activity, and similar information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications and user content: reviews, testimonials, survey responses, and messages you send us.

We collect this information directly from you, automatically as you use the Site, and from service providers and advertising partners who help us operate our business.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders and provide customer support;
  • Send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, and service notices);
  • Send marketing communications about products, launches, and offers where permitted, and manage our email and SMS programs;
  • Operate, personalize, secure, and improve the Site and our products;
  • Measure and improve our advertising and marketing;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to run the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. This includes analytics and advertising partners such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, TikTok, and our email/SMS platform Attentive, as well as similar analytics and advertising providers. These partners may set their own cookies and collect information about your activity across sites over time.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie preferences tool on the Site. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics technologies described above may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (for cross-context behavioral advertising) under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out — see "Your privacy rights" below.

We disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers that operate our business on our behalf — including our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping and fulfillment providers, returns and package-protection providers, email/SMS providers, and customer-support tools;
  • Advertising and analytics partners as described in Section 3;
  • Legal and safety recipients when we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of PhoneSoap, our customers, or others; and
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

5. Email and text (SMS) messaging

If you opt in to our email or SMS programs, we use your contact information to send recurring marketing messages (including cart reminders). Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from email at any time via the link in any email, and from SMS by replying STOP (reply HELP for help). See our Terms of Service for additional messaging terms.

6. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Know/Access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose about you;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted/cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (where applicable); and
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

These rights apply to residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (including, for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas), subject to each law's requirements and exceptions.

How to exercise your rights: Email us at cs@phonesoap.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line, or use the cookie/opt-out controls on the Site. To opt out of "sale"/"sharing" and targeted advertising, you may also broadcast a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from a supported browser. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with "Appeal" in the subject line.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — including to provide our products and services, comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — after which we delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including encryption (such as SSL/TLS) for data transmitted through our checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you purchase our products through a third-party retailer or distributor, their privacy practices apply to that transaction.

9. Children's privacy

Our Site and products are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly "sell" or "share" the personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at cs@phonesoap.com and we will delete it.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services we don't control. This Privacy Policy doesn't apply to them; please review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version here. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
