We couldn’t find a great air purifier. So we built a better one.
here's why
HEPA filters miss the smallest stuff—like viruses*
HEPA filters aren’t the gold standard we were led to believe. In fact, they can’t collect particles smaller than 300 nm.
AirSoap TPA filters capture particles as small as 14 nm.
HEPA filters are wasteful
HEPA filters end up in landfill—as many as three each year for every purifier out there. You can wash and reuse AirSoap TPA filters for years.
Unchanged filters can create pollution
Harmful particles captured by Hepa filters can live and create further pollution over time if they are not changed properly.
Conventional air purifiers slow down as they clog up
Most air purifiers list a performance rating (CADR) based on how well they do in the prime of life, as in day one of use.
That’s like posting only the best-ever photo of yourself on your dating profile.
HEPA filters rapidly become less effective as the grit piles up. AirSoap uses Electric Wind technology to generate a high-energy plasma field that keeps going.
Ionizers can be tough on lungs
Many ionizers actually add ozone and potentially harmful chemicals to indoor air. That makes no sense. AirSoap uses an electrostatic filtration process instead that emits no chemicals and has been shown to lower indoor ozone levels.
Airsoap Does It Differently
AirSoap uses washable, reusable collection plates instead of costly disposable filters to rid your air of everything that’s not, well, air:
Here’s how it works
Snag the big stuff
Air flows from the bottom into the pre-filter screen to collect hair, pet dander, and other stuff that keeps your air from being awesome.
Kill bacteria & viruses*
A plasma field kills 99% bacteria & viruses* while polarizing all particles passing through.
Collect all the rest
Charged particles head to the collection plates where electrostatic energy traps them until you wash them away.
Deliver better air
An activated carbon filter removes unpleasant odors and delivers exceptional air.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the AirSoap X3 and AirSoap X5?
Size matters most when comparing these two. Though they work alike, one fits bigger spaces. Standing over two feet high and wider too, the X5 handles rooms up to 1600 square feet - good for lounges, large offices, even full studios. Smaller in stature, the X3 suits spots under 860 square feet like personal bedrooms or home offices. Taller shape, stronger airflow - that’s where the X5 pulls ahead. What ties them together? Same core tech drives both: silent Electric Wind system, reusable graphene collector plates, zero disposable filters ever needed. Shape differs, strength varies - but inside, they’re cut from the same cloth.
Can the AirSoap X5 handle an open-concept living room?
Rated to handle areas as big as 1600 square feet, the AirSoap X5 sanitizes living rooms without any issue. In open layouts beyond that size, placing it near the center helps. Since it runs nonstop, sanitizing and recirculating air, brief airflow changes from doors or windows hardly matter. Its built-in sensor detects shifts in sanitation, then tweaks performance on its own. Because of this, steady results happen even when conditions drift.
Does the AirSoap X5 have an automatic mode?
Yes. At times, the AirSoap X5 switches into auto mode by itself. It keeps checking how sanitized the air indoors really is. As dust or fumes rise, it pushes more airflow through. Sanitized conditions mean slower spinning, which cuts down on noise. A small glow near its bottom gives clues about what's happening right now. You notice changes just as they happen. Watching helps understand shifts without needing numbers.
How much money does a filterless air purifier save over HEPA?
Over 5 years, a filterless air purifier like the AirSoap can save $500 to $1,000 or more in replacement filter costs compared to HEPA-based purifiers, which typically require new filters every 6–12 months at $50–$200 each. Combined with AirSoap's ultra-low energy consumption (approximately $30/year at the highest setting), the total cost of ownership is significantly lower than comparable HEPA models. The washable graphene plates last for years with proper maintenance.
Is the AirSoap X5 good for removing smoke and odors?
Yes. Inside the AirSoap X5 sits a layer of activated carbon meant to pull in smells, fumes, while also trapping VOCs. Thanks to Electric Wind Tech, particles as tiny as 14 nanometers get caught along the way. Odor gone? Check. Smoke handled? Yep. Cooking stinks fade faster here than elsewhere. Pets leave traces - this one clears them up. Indoor air ends up feeling lighter, sanitized without fanfare.
